Ancora in calo in gennaio 2012 le vendite Fiat, Lancia ed Alfa Romeo in Italia; l'Alfa Romeo Giulietta, la Lancia Ypsilon ed il Fiat Freemont entrano nei 10 modelli più venduti dal Gruppo Fiat nel 2011 sia in Italia che in Francia, Spagna e Germania. Per il 2012 Unrae stima le immatricolazioni in Italia a 1,68 milioni (-4%).

L'obiettivo del marchio Jeep è di vendere oltre 125mila nuove vetture in Europa nel 2014, grazie anche al Grand Cherokee ed alla struttura distributiva Fiat che potrà contare su 430 dealer. La nuova Fiat Panda costruita a Pomigliano ha un obiettivo di vendite nel 2012 di 230.000 vetture, tra vecchio e nuovo modello.

Riprende a salire anche in dicembre il mercato auto in Giappone, bene Fiat, male Alfa Romeo, ma entrambi i marchi sono in crescita nel 2011 e nel 2012 sarà in vendita in Giappone anche l'Alfa Romeo Giulietta. Le Fiat 500 vendute in Giappone nel 2011 sono state 4.501.

Buono il 2011 per Chrysler in Canada, cresce nell'anno la quota di mercato sopra il 14%. Chrysler Canada termina l'anno con il maggior numero di vendite dal 2002 e nel mese di dicembre ha registrato il 25° mese consecutivo anno su anno di crescita delle vendite. Positivo anche il mese di gennaio 2012. Sono 284 le Fiat 500 vendute in Canada a dicembre, in lieve calo rispetto ai mesi precedenti. Chrysler in Nord America sta ricevendo grandi benefici dall'alleanza con Fiat.
