La Fiat 500X è una Crossover compatta dalle linee arrotondate e originali, lunga meno di 430 cm si presta anche all’uso cittadino.
Sono previsti tre allestimenti “cittadini” (Pop, Pop Star e Lounge) e due adatti anche al fuori strada (Cross e Cross Plus): oltre ai paraurti specifici, hanno la luce a terra aumentata da 16 a 18 cm e la trazione anteriore con sistema Traction+ (più affidabile sui terreni scivolosi) oppure quella 4x4.
La Fiat 500X è offerta con motori a benzina 1.6 (110 CV) e 1.4 Turbo MultiAir (140 CV), oppure diesel 1.6 (120 CV) e 2.0 (140 CV), quest’ultimo abbinabile anche al cambio automatico a 9 marce (al posto di quello manuale) e alla trazione 4x4.
La Fiat 500X, insieme alla Jeep Renegade, è prodotta nello stabilimento italiano di Melfi.
