Sono decisamente ambiziosi gli obiettivi di vendita Fiat per la Freemont: la casa italiana vuole consegnarne 40.000 ogni anno; 20.000 in Italia ed altrettanti nel resto d’Europa. La produzione è iniziata a pieno regime nell'estate 2011 nello stabilimento di Toluca in Messico. La Freemont, a detta di Fiat, non è un Suv e neppure una monovolume, ma una macchina che il costruttore cerca di rendere interessante per la platea più vasta possibile. Sicuramente appare molto versatile: i suoi 7 posti, la modularità e la possibilità di avere la trazione integrale la rendono assai più completa e sfaccettata della Croma del 2005. Le concorrenti della Fiat Freemont si chiamano Ford Galaxy, Volkswagen Sharan, Renault Espace, che hanno però prezzi superiori mediamente di almeno 7.000 euro.

Sales targets for the Fiat Freemont are very ambitious: the Italian house wants to hand over 40,000 each year, 20,000 in Italy and as many in the rest of Europe. Production began in full swing in summer 2011 in the factory in Toluca, Mexico. The Fremont, according to Fiat, is not even a minivan and an SUV, but a car that the manufacturer tries to make it worthwhile for the widest possible audience. Certainly looks very versatile: its 7 seats, the modularity and the ability to have four-wheel drive makes it much more complete and multifaceted compared to the Croma 2005. The competitors for the Fiat Freemont are called Ford Galaxy, Volkswagen Sharan, Renault Espace, which have higher average prices, however, at least 7,000 euros.
